The beautifully landscaped gardens are a standout feature, offering a perfect spot for relaxing and even hosting treasure hunts for the kids. The breakfast spread is impressive, with homemade jams and well-cooked bacon that can make any morning feel special.
Some rooms have shared bathrooms across the hall, which could be a minor inconvenience, especially for those expecting en-suite facilities. I encountered noise from street lighting and traffic, which detracted from the otherwise peaceful vibe. A few rooms also faced challenges with heating regulation, making it a bit chilly at times. Limited television options were frustrating too. it could've used a better selection of channels to unwind after a long day.

The breakfast was exceptional, featuring homemade jams and an impressive spread that included the best bacon and eggs I've ever tasted. The hosts, Manor and Ann, went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was enjoyable.

I had high hopes for The Old House but was sorely disappointed. The bathroom was across the hall, which definitely woudl ve been a slight inconvenience, and the bed was far from comfortable. Plus, a welcome gift woudl have been nice, especially since I had to wait till 4 o'clock to check in. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

We had a grand stay in the Superior King Room, lovely and spacious too! The garden's a real beauty, perfect for a cuppa. Just the bathroom being separate was a tad inconvenient. But everything else was mighty! Breakfast was a treat, thanks a million, Manor and Ann.
